But honestly I might generally need a break from Sanderson’s books. I’ve only been reading the Cosmere since I got into reading in 2022. With the exception of a mediocre romance book.

I’ve been reading The Way of Kings on and off for so long (since December of 2024) that I’m honestly starting to get fatigued by it. And it doesn’t help that I’ve been recovering from psychosis since May. Think I need to read a different book to shake things up.

Kaladin’s wounds healing in chapter 38 reminds me of Feruchemical gold healing. Though I find this an interesting contrast to Szeth’s healing, which iirc wasn’t immediate. Szeth’s healing wasn’t regenerative iirc so it reminded me of Pewterarm healing.

I think the assumption that the warehouse of corpses belongs to Sadeas is wrong. I wonder if they belong to whoever is collecting the prophetic epigraphs from Part 1. Or maybe I’m misunderstanding this passage
