okay adding to this i went and looked it up if his skeleton was made of the lightest titanium it would weigh ~550lbs do we see the issue
like yes its not a ton more weight to be fatter but when you also add being able to get through tighter spaces i think it sadly makes more sense for him

actually i cannot just not add an explanation atlas being skinnier makes more sense because he's already like 7.5ft tall and his bones are basically steel (along with having a lot of muscle) so any extra weight just starts to break things built for humans and thats a little inconvenient for him
