I still like Mahjong Soul's aesthetic more and still think Riichi City crosses the line from suggestive to raunchy a bit too much for my tastes, but Riichi City's pretty much got it beat in every other sense. More frequent events, a kinder ranking system, more customization options, etc.

Yeah, I get that. I was on there for a few years and it was okay. I get a bit more interaction here now and then but it's hard to have extended conversations at either place lol

I'm not good at microblogging. I just end up writing long rambling threads that are hard to keep cohesive to fit character limits. Part of me is considering making a tumblr or substack or something just to get the deluges of words out of my head more effectively.

I just don't have any faith in the system working anymore. Go on ahead and keep telling them what they're doing is illegal. They know and don't care. Judges can order them to stop. They won't. Freedoms of speech and the press are dead, and peaceful protest is met with brutality every fucking time.

I've always had a deep loathing for them because gun culture sickens me. Never been anti-2A though; totally fine with responsible, rational use.

The way the country's going though, it's been making me reconsider my feelings about them somewhat. Never felt unsafe enough to need one, but...
