Where do the Funny Farm animals come from? Mostly they belonged to good responsible households whose circumstances abruptly and unexpectedly changed. Sometimes the change is the surprise arrival of a stray animal. Many of the animals in sanctuary here were rescued ferals brought in by caring people who quickly realize they are not prepared for this kind of surprise.
