もったいぶったように､親しげなふうに｢おや｣と口を開く｡
｢おや､奇遇ですね｣
｢おや､それはお困りでしょう｣
が､あまり感情がこもらないので…偶然に会って嬉しそうとか､困ってる相手のことを心配しているようには聞こえない｡
これは数少ないJPのクセ､無意識の現れで…
実は｢おや｣と呼吸を取って話しかけることで､その場に最適なウソを淀みなく話すための間を稼いでいる｡
基本的にJPの話すことはすべてウソだが､｢おや｣と口にするときはいっそう嘘くさい｡

齢90を超えるが未だかくしゃくとしており、郷里の山で薬草を採る暮らしを続けている。若い頃は「雲霊峰の女仙」と呼ばれる女傑であったが、今はこじんまりとしていつもニコニコしているおばあちゃん。
預けられた当初、反抗期真っ盛りで頑なであったジェイミーだが…
穏やかな祖母の芯に秘めた強さに触れ、次第に打ち解ける。
祖母はジェイミーの天性の才を見抜き、彼を生涯最初にして最後の弟子として、己の技のすべてを伝えた。
ストリートで誰に教わることなくケンカに明け暮れていたジェイミーに、一人では生きていけないと仲間の大切さを説いたのも祖母。
ジェイミーは祖母を「おばあ」と呼んで慕っている。

Painting nails is some bull shit man people online say yeah it takes ten minutes to dry. Hey fucker I waited 30 min and accidentally bumped into a surface and it's RUINED and that's with a top coat I'm going insane
