Yeah, the Steam Deck using Linux is probably the only complaint I have about this. I can see the appeal, but it was a nightmare for me to get through in Desktop Mode. And I think it's a big reason why I'm not able to run Sonic Frontiers.

I know the Steam Deck has been a thing for a few years now, but...I'm still stunned.

I'm currently playing CloverPit, a game only available on Steam, on my TV like it was available on consoles.

My PC Terraria worlds, I can now play on my TV!

Just...wow.

My Steam Deck is officially docked to my 4K TV! Oh my god it's amazing! I can even use my PS5 controller on it! =D =D =D

Docking station is here! It's a third-party one, so hopefully it will work with my Steam Deck.

I'm amazed at how many games are actually working on this thing. I think the only game I haven't been able to boot up and play properly is...Sonic Frontiers.

On the plus side, other than some non-Sonic Steam games I'm downloading, I think my Steam Deck is just about ready to go now!

...My docking station is still not here yet, by the way. Delivery got delayed to Tuesday. 🙃

So much hell I've been going through to get Sonic games set up. Sonic Frontiers kept giving me freezing problems, so I tried Steam's Proton options. Now the game won't boot up and I think SEGA's Denuvo crap has locked me out from playing a game I paid for.

Denuvo needs to go.

My Steam Deck should be here tomorrow, but it'll be a few days before my docking station gets here. I already got a big microSD card, so at the very least I can set things up and give handheld play a try before I can do some game time on the TV.

1,000s of articles written on multiple Sonic fan sites, live streams, podcasts, radio shows...it has been an amazing ride.

I highly doubt my mental health will ever truly improve. I just feel so isolated & alone & it has only made me feel more unloved and unwanted.

Still, my depression can't ignore 15 years of encouragement & support from you all. It helps. A lot.

I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I may be in my 30s, but I still love video games.

Still...my mental health has only gotten worse over the past 15 years. Emotionally, I feel like a zombie now. My depression is very bad. So, the escapism of games...help. A lot.

But I think a major reason I've stuck around for so long is because of all the support you all have given me. Knowing there's people in this community that tolerate me, let alone like me? I don't think I'll ever comprehend that.

I've seen so many people in the community come and go. Sometimes I'm amazed I've lasted here as long as I have myself!

There were actually a few times I contempted it, but ultimately decided no. I love this damn franchise too much.

It's hard to believe how different things are now compared to 2010. Live streaming & social media was still new. SEGA and the Sonic brand didn't have the fame and wealth it has now.

I also got told to shut up a lot. lol

What a journey. I can't wait to see where it goes next.
