Klebsiella is an opportunistic pathogen that can cause difficult-to-cure mastitis in dairy cattle — often leading to chronic infection that hurts both cow health and milk production. SRUC researchers recently analysed 42 Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from mastitis cases.
