Arsenal v Crystal Palace to take place on 23rd December.

Both clubs will play two days after matches on 21st December.
No sign of Gyokeres, Havertz, Jesus, Madueke, Martinelli and Odegaard in training.

Kepa not out here, either.

Worth noting Andre Harriman-Annous is training with first team, not U19s.
Zubimendi in training today.
Piece on how Declan Rice has become a “total player” under Mikel Arteta.

In the Arsenal squad in the Premier League this season, no player has created more chances or won possession more times.

How 'total player' Rice has taken his game to a new level for Arsenal
Rice has evolved to become the heartbeat of the Arsenal side marching towards the Premier League title

Looking at Rice's numbers for a piece today.

Plenty of impressive ones, but his carrying numbers in the Premier League this season are crazy compared to rest of Arsenal squad.

Only player over 2,000 metres - and is 750 ahead of the next best. No wonder he is called The Horse.

Scott Parker on Arsenal: "They are a team that has every single ingredient to win the league this year."
Arteta says Gyokeres and Zubimendi both had muscular issues, which forced them to come off at Burnley.
This Arsenal side have now matched George Graham’s famous team, who hold the club record for the most successive wins without conceding in all competitions - seven between September and October 1987.
Full-time

Burnley 0-2 Arsenal

A comfortable win for Arsenal, in the end. Gyokeres and Rice with the goals in the first half, which killed the game, in truth. Burnley did not have a shot on target. Arsenal are, for now, seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Zubimendi down getting some treatment.

Norgaard coming on.
Hincapie, not White.

Subs bench is other side of ground...
Nwaneri and White coming on.
Nwaneri and White coming on.
Gyokeres off.

One for Arteta after. Only thing can think of was he got a hand/arm to face right at end of half.
Merino coming on.
Half-time

Burnley 0-2 Arsenal

Dominant from Arsenal, who could - and really should - be further ahead. Gyokeres, who has been excellent, put them in front & Rice added a second. Saka had two good chances saved and Trossard one cleared off the line. Burnley yet to have a shot.
Gyokeres' link-play has come on so much since August.

The ball he played there for that counter was so, so good.
A great counter-attack from a Burnley long throw.

Trossard crosses it in and Rice heads home

Deserved.
