I love how, during Couldn't be Happier, Ariana drops into a natural, raw deep register when she reflects on how unhappy she truly is and the careful deceit she's set up for herself evaporates for a second, after which she builds back to her higher register while trying to convince herself again

There are definitely a few examples of this, Vetra Nyx springs to mind, I honestly think there might be a market for this, just maybe not quite as mainstream as for female audiences.
Men often like monstrous female characters in games and movies, they're just not presented as romance options
