Teaching in America is a heroic act in absurd conditions. We keep starving public schools, diverting money to private institutions, shrinking budgets, attacking the staff, banning books, and handing curriculum to ideologues.

The purges are coming faster now. Seven months. Five months. Ten months. Signing a petition about Epstein, hesitating before applauding, it’s having a thought Trump didn’t approve first. He’s already announced he’ll fire military leaders ‘if I don’t like them.’ The purges aren’t slowing down.

A cult of followers who remain willfully blind in the face of serial misconduct, corruption and lies. How can people still believe someone who has stolen from charities, built fake universities, bribed officials and blackmailed opponents? When you vote for / support this — you’re complicit.

Is it that unpalatable to think your tax (national insurance) deductions will actually help others, as well as yourself, you can get a job with fancy healthcare insurance, but if you lose that job, get ill and then lose everything, absolute madness and very backwards thinking

I have noticed this get worse and worse since they started idolizing the class clown and the kids that beat up the smart boys and isolated the smart girls - way back in the 60's.
