I made plans to go to the SLU hoops game today but just remembered those plans 50 minutes before tip and I already got pizza to sit here and watch football

I've been so locked in watching the Ashes and the darts that I almost forgot about the college football playoffs this weekend.

Working on an all-emcompassing #AllForCITY offseason article for Riverbender that should be out next week. Also kicking the tires on a little something new for the new year 🫡

St Louis City takes one of my big draft favorites, Zack Lillington, 7th. Please play him as a midfielder!

Kinda hard to get people to care about the MLS SuperDraft when the league can't even throw together a fuckin YouTube stream for the thing

A bit warm in Adelaide for the Ashes today

If you're an #AllForCITY fan clamoring for change, the roster announcements for CITY2 today seem like a big deal. Not keeping senior players around to try to win a reserve league and using the team more as a development tool. Everyone has fun with CITY2 but this seems like the right call.

As a resident of the greater St. Louis metropolitan area who has seen a majority of football fans adopt the Chiefs since the Rams left town, this is the happiest I've been about anything in the NFL in perhaps 20 years

It’s important to contextualize just how much less safe American drivers are than everywhere else in the world, and it’s getting worse!

At a Taco Bell for some post-work spicy potato soft tacos and they have the Christmas music playing on the in-house radio. The employees seemingly do not like this, and are drowning it out with random rap music on a Bluetooth speaker. The soothing sounds of lunch

#stlcards: one of the worst teams in MLB, new regime is trying to gut the team to rebuild

#stlblues: one of the worst teams in the NHL, addicted to signing sex pests in Doug Armstrong's last year in charge

#AllForCITY: one of the worst teams in MLS, no real rhyme or reason for anything they do

Blues signing Dillon Dube to an AHL contract is fucking gross. Team is in the shitter and this is the third(!) guy this year with a history of sexual assault they've picked up. Fucking Dinamo Minsk didn't even want Dube this season, but the Blues are more than willing to give him an AHL contract.

Sure mandated hydration breaks are just commercial breaks but as someone who has watched countless MLS players wilt in the summer heat across this country, I'm not too opposed to the breaks.

Pouring one out for the last MLS game at a long-lasting temp stadium in Broward County. Me and my dad looked for a bar kind of close to the stadium when we went to a game a few years back and settled for an Outback steakhouse.
