The options in this race are so very dismal. It's two Silicon Valley abundobros who want to hand San Francisco over to Blackstone, Blackrock, and luxury condo developers (Weiner and Chakrabarti) OR Nancy Pelosi's daughter. Depressing.

The entire premise of yimbyism is flawed. Yimby is trickle down housing backed by the heritage foundation and developers. Its goal is to destroy regulations and increase profits.

Rent control works. All it says is that you can't increase rent on a CURRENT tenant more than x% per year.

That’s funny cuz the entire government apparatus of Israel was used to help get trump elected, so it’s a little disingenuous to pretend he’s somehow not what they wanted.

I'd like to add that I just read some of his posts and yes, definitely a saviour complex, but he is right about psychology (paranoia, fear, etc.) driving elections and not material circumstances. That said, material circumstances often set people's psychological states. i.e. Inflation creates fear.
