I think by the time the iconic How Does It Feel video came out I already thought he was the finest man in music. The crush I had! His music felt timeless. Still does. That man did things to instruments he also did to hearts. You felt every single note.

I was just old enough to know D’Angelo was a special kind of fine and talented. Who wasn’t singing along to Brown Sugar came out? It didn’t matter what the song was about you could feel the sensuality all throughout the song. Dude was fully clothed and still making women want to throw some panties.
