This is not unique to the UK. This same split (basically) happened to episcopal and Methodist churches this decade. It’s a down stream effect of racist, homophobic, and sexist evangelism done in African and Asian countries.
i think americans find it very hard to understand how irreligious the uk is. for reference, the global communion headed by our state church – the third largest on earth after catholicism and eastern orthodoxy – schismed in HALF yesterday. this has not made the uk news

Here’s my hot take on silksong. The problem isn’t difficulty, it’s padding. I understand the boss patterns and how to beat them, I just can’t do the same pattern 20 times in a row like I could when I was 15.
I think difficulty settings or at least boss health bars would increase my fun by 75%.
