I'm getting a lot of followers who may not know me, and I tend to only retweet if there's a concrete political action these days, so...

If you think trans rights are up for debate, or if you voted for Trump, or if you think the US arming Israel is just peachy, I don't want you around.

Feeding America is a great organization to donate to, 98% of the money goes to programs and services and for each dollar they can provide 10 meals. If you donate $5 that’s 50 meals. It’s a national org that rescues, stores and distributes food to foodbanks and pantries. www.feedingamerica.org
I'm sure Rex Harrison was a dirt bag irl, but I do appreciate how he got away with 0 singing skills and just kind of talking dramatically through every song his entire career.
She has a lot of sexual tension with another character that never gets resolved, that was my main takeaway. 😂
It's definitely not a cheerful romp, but I remember really liking it? Problematic depiction of the Belgian Congo notwithstanding, I was a teenager and can't remember details so I can't speak to that.
I've actually seen The Nun's Story, but only because it was showing in an indie theater in a town I happened to be visiting.
I think MFL was a 5-7 thing for me, my mom liked the movie. No one but me really enjoyed Funny Face, no idea why we had it on DVD 😂. My dad watched it with me once and was like "why is she paired up with old Fred Astaire 🤨" (Roman Holiday was his favorite movie, so it wasn't disliking the genre)
There are dozens of us!!!! DOZENS!!! When I was 8-10 my favorite movie was Funny Face. I think even my siblings were sick of Funny Face.
Just fyi after I posted this both my sisters independently texted me like "did you see the Louvre was robbed? I immediately thought of How to Steal a Million" so I guess we're the only zillennials for which this movie was a household staple. No one will ever understand us, we only have each other.
Who robbed the Louvre? Right answers only.
The real Hunt for Ben Solo was the friends we made along the way (jk fucking make the movie you fucking cowards)
Literally the most degrading thing in the world is being asked by your boss to use AI to create a dumb decorative image for a PowerPoint presentation. Like isn't this shit supposed to be easy to use, enter the prompt yourself if you want to use AI so bad?
My friend visited to scope it out and was like 'the buses were more convenient than I thought' and I was like "see????"

I'd probably also like living in NYC because I can only technically drive, but it seems like a terrible city for people with ADHD. Everything seems very logistically difficult.
I have no idea why I loved living in LA so much, I do not even like beaches. The tide pooling was fun though.
Obviously the ICE goons thing is terrible, but I also feel like the ICE goons will be terrible everywhere in the US at some point so if I have to live in the US I'd rather live in a city where I know people will fight the fuck back, you know? And yes, the fires. But maybe...still worth...
It's so hard for me to hype up LA to people who just visit because it's huge and has a kind of concrete jungle vibe and the traffic is terrible as is the public transport but like it's the best city in the world okay??? And I lived in fairytalesque Switzerland.
*sigh* my best friend, who is considering a move to the West Coast, is leaning towards Seattle rather than LA. I'm sorry, Seattle people, your city was very nice the one time I visited, but y'all need more Latinos. And fewer tech bros though I get that isn't your fault.
Who robbed the Louvre? Right answers only.
I have already added "darts" to the sausages to give them a more lifelike curve.
Googling "professional finish felt sausages how" while putting together my Halloween costume.

On google images just adding “before:2020” after the keywords works to cut down most of it.

If I prefer exact date ranges, I switch to desktop mode (if on a phone) and under Tools > Any time switch it to Custom Range… so it only displays results before 2020.
Been trying to find fantasy landscape art references to help me visualize a story element for a while, and I cannot escape the asbestos of slop. So, have we invented a site like the way dA used to be for exclusively human-made art? Bsky is not optimal for searching for specific things.

Guys new scamming method on bluesky. Please share this around. Dont fall for this stuff

Block, move on.
I thought I'd be able to make the No Kings protest with a toddler in tow, but the combination of no nap and needing the stroller and solo parenting with no car today just made it too much. Sending love to everyone out there (and to anyone working for their communities in these times!)
Best thing about blocking on here is that it's viscerally satisfying in the way replying would be otherwise. You get to see replies disappear, get to see their little block score go up... heartwarming ❤️
