Idk- I feel like “proship” is kind of an overloaded word (?) For me generally anything involving minors or family members is not my cup of tea and I don’t want to see it.

No I get it- I’m lowkey tired of people putting bingqiu on a proship level of idk “father/daughter” ship because they’re not 😭
I just wanted my opinion out there and your post abt media literacy gave me the opportunity to geek out.

I see where you’re coming from. LBH’s intensity and manipulative tendencies are def. flaws-
As for the fanwei- having read it in Chinese; SQQ “begging him to stop” is more so for melodramatic and comedic effect and common in Chinese humor, a tongue in cheek moment. It highlights SQQ being hyperbolic

NOO OKAY your perspective is valid but I’m not trying to sanitize them, I’m trying to contextualize it. 😭
Since we are on the topic of media literacy- I’m just sharing my perspective of the overall character development. (I have more to yap about. Idk if I’m spamming or if ppl are even interested)

But l was referring to their current relationship status, after the main story. Mainly referencing book 4 and end of 3. Anything before Xin Mo’s destruction is definitely a problematic ship due to the lack of consent. SQQ was too paranoid and in denial and LBH was still being influenced by XM

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily call it "problematic." 😟 They had a difficult journey yeah- and could work on their communication and establishing healthy boundaries. But like, those are common relationship issues and don't automatically make the situation problematic imo

- SY and Binghe have a 1 year age difference
- they have similar amount of experience
- and they’re both in high positions

It’s consensual and has no power imbalance. AUGH ITS SO FRUSTRATING

Huge coincidence- I didn’t have anything on me that indicated I liked TGCF btw so I was thoroughly stunned. Also I couldn’t just take things without giving anything back so I gave him a Chinese luck charm (Besides that he also told my friend to use vinegar for her acne, erm thats not-) [3/4]

A friend was visiting Berlin, so I invited her to make bracelets together. After contemplating for a while, I chose to create matching Hua Cheng bracelets for my girlfriend and me! Once we finished, we wanted to grab something to eat, so we headed into the metro. [1/4]
