I barely have the emotional maturity to play The Last of Us Part 2. No wonder the gamergaters were pissing themselves over it. This game is great.

I can’t get over a mayoral candidate coming to my door asking for signatures and when he told me his solution to violent crime is “more cops” and I said I couldn’t support him, he just said ok and walked away. No explaining himself, no trying to understand me. Like…what are we even doing here?

So next week is my last week at my job due to lay offs and my role being outsourced. I’ve spent the last 4 months training my replacements, cancelling a trip to Paris and panicking in this job market. My grandboss sends this invite yesterday. Is it just me or is this completely out of pocket?

My sourdough starter has remained unchanged since yesterday…I haven’t even fed it yet today…I think it’s dead….

So it’s day 5 and I think I killed it. It’s in the “cultivate” stage but all action has slowed to practically nothing and it doesn’t smell like the good yeast and bacteria I’m looking for…I’ll continue to trust the process.(also making another poolish, I def didn’t let it prove enough last time)

Haven’t even messed with it yet this morning but we got some REAL ACTION! (The other container is a poolish for a yeasted bread I’m making today)

It should be a law that closed captioning tells you the artist and name of the song that’s playing. Sometimes it does, and I like that.

Day 2: The sourdough starter has claimed the kitchen chair(it’s right by the heat vent). No action yet, but trusting the process.

Are we still doing sourdough? Starter Day 1 (note: I have *never* been successful, but I’m optimistic this time)

I’ve been watching a lot of David Lynch and I realized being in worlds that don’t make any sense makes so much more sense than being in this one.

It is such a shame Roseanne died shortly after wrapping season 9 of Roseanne. It’s gotta be almost 30 years at this point. RIP.
