I'm pretty much booked for the rest of 2025, so let's get my 2026 filled up!

It's okay to let your readers assume things. Making sure everything is spelled out and wrapped up in a little bow doesn't make for the most stimulating story.
Nothing like a walk in the brisk autumn morning to start your day
Follow-up appointment done. The bubs is doing better but still has to have another follow-up next week and continue the medicine.
What was supposed to be a normal vet check up ended up being 2 and a half hours long with x-rays taken, meds prescribed, and a follow-up appointment for next week. Gryffin was a very good boy throughout it though
Also had some double writing days sprinkled in there with a new side project that's more urban fantasy compared to FoC's epic setting, but only have around 300 words on that so far
3 weeks of writing something every day. Story went from 2k to 4600 words in that time. Some days were 300 word days, some were 150, some were 10, but every one was a step forward. Taking the reboot of Fates of Chaos slowly this time to really make sure I hit every nail
Due to our anniversary vacation last week and the pup being sick this week I have not been as productive on my current job as I would have liked. Kicking myself for it, but at the same time I know some of it couldn't be helped. Week ahead will definitely be a busy one though.

Authors, why did you choose the tense and POV that you did for your story?
"I want a smart dog. Smart dogs are the best."

Yeah, until you have to give them medicine and they inspect every inch of any food you give them for foreign objects so they can be sure to eat around them
I'm really burnt out on social media. Every platform. I don't get anything positive out of any of them, just energy drained while horrible shit is forced into my feeds.

Wish it weren't impossible to be a freelancer without using social media.
Apples are overrated. Pears are the true king of the fruit realm.
It's a reread for me, but I definitely have comics piling up that I need to get through 😄
Writing a story that hinges so heavily on loving relationships between siblings has been tough since I don't have that with mine. So naturally I had to start a side project featuring two brothers that don't like each other

It's called balance
a man with long hair and a beard is making a funny face and saying `` perfect balance '' .

I had anticipated editing the sequel to a book I haven't read to be more difficult than it actually has been

Small blessings I suppose.
It's amazing how much money you have when you stop spending it

On the penultimate episode of Sons of Anarchy (first watch through). Did not expect that Wendy would be the character I have the most respect for by this point.
My younger brother and his kids came down to visit us for the first time. It was a lovely time, but I think Gryffin was over it before it began 😂
