Starting as Sundog in 1979, the time laced between the pages is nothing sort of magical. We have published authors such as Leon Stokesbury, Joe Pachinko, and Aldo Amparán alongside emerging voices that helped to build the Southeast Review we read today!

Today, October 20th, is the National Day on Writing! The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) formed this holiday in 2009 as a yearly reminder of something we at Southeast Review continue to uphold. Let us celebrate all types of craft and remember #WhyIWrite today, tomorrow, and forever.
