I never learned how to do art digitally, so I always work with traditional media, usually pencils (graphite and colored), pens, Sharpies, and alcohol markers.

In Sid Meier's Civilization V, if you're playing as the Maya, discovering the "Theology" technology will change the calendar on the UI from a Gregorian calendar to an actual Mayan calendar.
(Though this is because they get bonuses on set turns, so I guess it's not *that* useless―Just easy to miss!)

I really enjoyed Dynasty Warriors 9, even though it's widely disliked. I will admit it's a little rough around the edges, but the open world of ancient China is still a lot of fun to traverse!

Been thinking this morning, about what might be bothering me about my art style is that I can never figure out the right balance between Western and Eastern influences.
There’s elements of both, as it’s always been, but sometimes I feel like I try to lean too hard into the Eastern inspirations.

I’m a bit late, but I finally got to watching the Del Toro Frankenstein tonight. (I had originally planned to watch it on Halloween, aha.)
Phenomenal, very much lived up to all the good I had heard, even had me choke up at a couple points.

I have very bad people-pleasing tendencies, and the extent to which I will sit on my hands to avoid doing *anything* that inconveniences others holds me back more than I want to admit.
