The magic the gathering community used to be huge on Twitter. They all got off of it to boycott and it basically deplatformed itself. From thousands of likes to crickets on blue sky. Funny because the community tends to silence people and they shut themselves up.

Magic players should see the game as a crock pot. You dont get fed twice as fast with two crock pots, you have a fucking party or feed a congregation. The only slop in magic are the overflowing buckets of AI engagement posts and rage bait replies.

Part of it is not having grands and such talking about 1927 or Roger Marris, etc. Because they saw them. We're left with all the marketing tales and sanitized club versions of the era and lost sight of what made the teams talented. Not every successor needs to be all time great.
