Im #Koalitionsvertrag von CDU/CSU und SPD kommt das Wort #Schengen kein einziges Mal vor.

Und bei #Grenzkontrollen sehen die Parteien die "Europäische Gemeinschaft" in der Pflicht - die es schon seit Lissabon 2009 nicht mehr gibt.

Hat da eigentlich mal irgendjemand mit EU-Erfahrung drübergeschaut?
Auszug aus dem Koalitionsvertrag von CDU/CSU und SPD 2025: "Begrenzung der Migration Zurückweisung an den Staatsgrenzen Wir werden in Absmmung mit unseren europäischen Nachbarn Zurückweisungen an den gemeinsamen Grenzen auch bei Asylgesuchen vornehmen. Wir wollen alle rechtsstaatlichen Maßnahmen ergreifen, um die irreguläre Migration zu reduzieren. Die Grenzkontrollen zu allen deutschen Grenzen sind fortzusetzen bis zu einem funktionierenden Außengrenzschutz und der Erfüllung der bestehenden Dublin- und GEAS-Regelungen durch die Europäische Gemeinschaft. Deshalb werden wir die europäische Grenzschutzagentur Frontex beim Grenzschutz und bei Rückführungen stärken."

After last week's European Council, EU leaders signed an additional text guaranteeing their continued support for Ukraine - without Hungary. Since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression in 2022, Prime Minister Orbán has regularly vetoed EU decisions on Ukraine. To get his agreement, EU leaders have accepted shady trade-offs, for instance the release of cohesion funds at the end of 2023. But the rule of law is not yet another bargaining chip, and EU leaders should not accept this instrumentalisation of EU values - it damages the EU's reputation and legitimacy.
