I really do not know if if is possible to use instantaneous communal applications while maintaining real-world nervous system regulation and great care for every person with whom one comes in contact. Old Buddhist tale about it taking seven generations to atone for every life stolen...
I love that Gens X and Alpha are into EMDR; they've made the resources more accessible. However, uneducated parents and adults are doomed to label this tried-and-true exposure therapy tool (made by a woman who herself struggled with compounded generational trauma) a "woo woo."

EMDR is considered a pseudoscience because medical professionals don't like women creating tools for women to heal trauma outside of talk therapy or the legal system. When male veterans with shellshock require this very sort of treatment to maintain national morale, the Pentagon pays for it.
