And I still remember how everybody hates the newcomers(especially for the case of Josie and Lucky Chloe) with how lackluster they can get for their supposed debut in TK7.

I'm honestly glad I wasn't on Tekken 7 because I already hate the concept of adding Akuma as part of canon Tekken universe.
I was also at the point of rock bottom that I spent four years on Granblue Fantasy hyperfixation before it was a fighting game and the rest trying literally anything else
