Yeah... I used to have an IG way long ago but left when they changed the feed from chronological to algorithmic & it feels like it's only gotten worse since then :/ People ask if I'm on IG a lot so if I made one it'd be for community but tbh w the AI and algorithms idk if that's possible either

Bsky, Tumblr, Neocities, Patreon, and Ko-fi are the only sites I post to regularly and 9 out of 10 casual internet users don't use any of those lmao Except maybe Bluesky. Facebook and Twitter can fuck right off but at least IG can double as a secondary portfolio to Artstation. I guess.

Is it worth it having an Instagram these days? I'm not on any "big" social media right now and it often feels like I'm shooting myself in the foot by not using at least one of them
