Great October. Highlights: Tidal Blades 2, Tanglewoods, Obsession

Lowlights: not low but I feel like Unconscious Mind is pretty same-y. Played second game same as first and won again.

Got to introduce some new players to my #1 game of all time and crack open my adventure chest of Lost Ruins of Arnak.
Boy does that insert make setup so much easier than endless baggies!
Played with expedition leaders.
I won as the Mystic with 107 pts.

I've also decided that although I like the look of the washed minis, standees really are just easier. And since I don't paint, look nicer than normal gray ones. Now that I've played Jaws of the Lion with standees and TB2 with minis....any campaign games standees all the way for me!

I saved my first Tidal Blade and visited Naviri for the first time.
What a fun little part of the game. The absolute best part of it, in my eyes, is that you get 3 days. So you actually feel like you get to do a lot of different things! Such a cool part of the game so far.

Finally played The Cursed Castle. One of Gabe Barretts Solo Game of the Month.
Fun little romp but def need to go to the discord for some rule clarifications. I also played the entire game with only 5 ability cards cuz I forgot one 🤦‍♀️

October's Game of the Month has FINALLY began.

Love the Nexus grid card system, love that I'm essentially playing Gloomhaven but with a MUCH prettier looking map and components. It's a pretty dungeon crawler 😊

Enjoyed my beginning and look forward to a great month of Tidal Blades 2!

What a brutal ending. They don't mess around when you lose. That narrative basically made me feel like a total and complete failure, but in a good way!

Won game 1 but lost game 2 handing me my 7th loss.

Great experience! Next up for October is Tidal Blades 2!

With my absolute back against the wall in Legacy of Yu, 1 defeat away from ending with the golden final defeat card, I pull off TWO BIG DUBS!
Definitely had some favorable stuff come up due to my losses but man, two big Ws!

Two more plays in of my Legacy of Yu campaign and I went 1-1 tonight.

Those darn Barbs have gotten me for all my losses so far.
5 games in and I'm 2 wins 3 losses.

Having a lot of fun focusing on this game.

3 player Unconscious Mind. Woah 🤯🤯
So much going on but I love the slow burn and churn.
I ended up winning with 193 points, grabbing 4 achievements in my last 4 turns. Very fun, wonder how a second play would go...

First time I've played 7 Wonders with expansions! (leaders and cities). Must've played this game over 50 times and I like what they added.
Came in 2nd and then...dead last in two 5 player games
