Probably a social democrat rather than what people sign up to as left-wing. Pro-democracy, remainer. Don't like flags other than the pretty colours and shapes. I think I'm funny, I'm probably just an idiot.
We could be herons. Just for one day.

What's weird is that if this was a teacher where allegations around child safety, the teacher would be suspended pending investigation. Ofcom are doing the opposite. Doesn't really protect children does it?

I would go with a "short term suspension until they comply with UK law", with the review timeline being short and committed. In this time, it will kill the platform domestically and users will go elsewhere. Mission accomplished.

She said disco dancing was dead and guitars are back... on the year Trance was everywhere and Ibiza culture became pervasive. Jayne is a bit shit.

They're groups with good pop songs. Saccharine but catchy.

The thinking here was apparently that Welsh had organically done the same e.g. ffenest (window) always grabbed me as French in sounding and I thought it was via breton but actually via the Latin Fenestra. Linguists took some elements of this to fill in gaps apparently 2/2

Have a look into the Board of Celtic Srudies and the Welsh Terminoylogy Center - which is Bangor uni. I did a bit of poking around as we were told this in school and not sure how accurate. It is worse than I thought... those bodies looked at Greek and Latin as a source, not gaelic. 1/2

I mean in the sense that the suppression of the language meant that there were lots of gaps in the 20th century revival of the language. So even now there's the odd word being altered through research into primary sources or "borrowing" from other branches of the Celtic languages.

Budapest Memorandum 1994. Forget Trump, the US haven't honoured their international agreements for some time.

Always fascinates me how much Cornish I can read/understand with a Welsh language education. I know a lot of Welsh was reconstituted but its a big gap of time since the Celts comingled substantially.
