- even though things are looking up for me right now, I'm struggling a lot and have been for the last couple weeks leading up. So I'm choosing to focus as much as possible on the joy of making it this far, and having lovely people in my life.

I'd like to give some context bc I'm honestly self conscious about how loud I'm trying to celebrate today.

The last five birthdays I've had have been various shades of very bad u.u and last years was the most acute. I find that I've developed a bit of a trauma response around the day, so this year-
