Italian Americans are not to blame for the mistreatment of indigenous people. But Columbus is. With the entire history of mistreatment of indigenous people of this country, and the americas as a whole, you seem like you’re willing to overlook that for one guy just because he was Italian.

I’m not understanding why you want to celebrate someone who did nothing but r@pe & kill indigenous people, who are still feeling the effects of such actions to this day, when you could celebrate the Italian American community itself as a whole. So again, happy Indigenous People’s Day.

Saying “let’s celebrate Italian American immigrants” is wonderful! Using a genocidal maniac to do so is insane. Columbus is not, and never was, someone to be celebrated. Let’s pick someone else to honor that community. They deserved better representation than Columbus from the start.

Apple pie from start to finish… I was sad when it deflated in the oven but it tasted good so oh well😂 also, the Granny Smith apples we picked at the orchard were HUGE (see photo 2)

LMAO okay wait I just did and I counted like 18. Hard to count bc some layers are very thick and the colors sort of meshed together on some layers. And just like a tree, some layers were thicker than other. It seems there were a few drought years lol

Pro tip, when you move into a new apartment that has in-unit laundry, check the lint trap before doing laundry. This is what my bf just found in his dryer upon doing laundry in his new place for the first time. This is INSANE!

Male sharks have 2 sexual organs called claspers. If the claspers are soft and bendy, the shark is immature. If the claspers are hard and rigid, he’s ready to reproduce! And unfortunately, as I scientist, I have had to be the one to decide if a male shark was mature or not. It’s… uncomfy😅😂
