Oh, and one last thing. Despite so many surveys and the absolute negate image associated with TH, after saying for months they would do something about it, they were still perma farming TH promos.

I still remember the necromancy outfit fiasco. So yeah, just pointing things out.

Again, to be clear, i'm glad TH is being removed, and it will undoubtablly benefit the game.

But i also think it's important to not all of a sudden believe everything a company has been saying after 15 years of having a shitty system in the game that has hurt thousands of people.

Furthermore, when it comes to investements, companies are willing to have a game on life support. To them, the comunity, the culture and impact of the game don't matter. It's all numbers. And what if they kill the game with bad decisions? THey'll just move on to the next one, and the next one.

A few years ago, when they got involved in court due to the gambling mechanics, they defended themselves stating that they simply weren't gambling mechanics.

They have for years made up excuses about how TH is just there for those who "don't have time to play the game" (BS excuse btw, OSRS is fine)

Like ultimately, i'm glad this is finally going through, and i don't much care for the reason, but i also don't like people spreading false narratives about the state of the game.

When the CEO decided to remove pride, he did so against overwhelming support from the community and devs.

I think the removal of TH is positive, but i also think we need to stop being delusional about it.

Let's face it, this is them trying to comply with future laws. The same way that Valve decided to crash the skin market value by 2 billion dollars, it wasn't due to a change of heart.

Personally i didn't want the removal of TH for the game to grow again. For that to happen you simply need a good game, and RS3 still has a lot of work to do (even if it will get better since no more MTX bad influence)

I want it gone because it a predatory thing that hurts people.

I do wonder if they lumped me in with those 35% actually because i did show disaproval for selling directly.
