DISSIDIA and 012 worked because it was a Zippy Actiony 1v1 Arcade Fighter with a minor change to the 1v1 formula being in-depth ability customization.

NT was “Innovative” by forcing 3v3 with slow clunky controls and 0 in-depth controls in order to lower the skill ceiling…

Opera Omina was a hit because it was more strategy RPG than a Competitive Game.

The Theatrhythm games work because they’re Rhythm games, and the formula never changes in a major way that detrimental to the genre.

People don’t want 3v3 Competitive Boss Fighters.

Players kept telling you exactly what they wanted but you ignored them because you want to innovate. Tekken is going strong because it uses the formula it knows works.

You’ve pulled yourself out of that shallow grave just to bury yourself again.

@sega-west.bsky.social I just had the Sandbagging Amy and Metal Sonic again. #SonicRacing:Crossworlds needs to get sandbagging fixed so people don’t Stop, Turn around, and fish for better items. I literally saw the Amy make a HARD U-Turn just to be last. They were on my team so I just closed my

@sega-west.bsky.social Had a couple people exploit the last place item mechanic to Sandbag for better Items, marked them in red. They full on stopped and waited hoping for good items.

I stopped and started fighting them so they HAD to race.

I did report their accounts.

A list of racers in the match. The user is unmarked, innocent racers are marked as white, and the players who sandbagged are in red.

Sandbagging is a term used when a player stays behind to get better items via abusing the catch up item mechanic- giving better items like a bullet bill or lightning bolt, holding onto them until the final lap and using them to steal victory.

Like it’s fine to not like a game or have issues with it, but to constantly silence your friend because you didn’t want to hear positivity from them… that’s kinda disgusting.

To stop making counterpoints- not even letting them speak. It was so awkward to watch him just constantly tell the friend “Shut it, I don’t wanna hear you make counter-points because they’re sloggy.” Or “I don’t wanna hear whatever excuse you’re making.”

In the wake of this game ( #SonicCrossworlds ) being a hit, (at least compared to prior racing titles). I’ve been seeing a lot of streamers, but I never thought I’d come across one that would say SR:CW is worse in every aspect compared to MK:W and then tell their friend(? They were Off camera.)

Like I’m out here, looking behind me and they all drive around me like I WASN’T trying to do the objective and line up with them for tap boosts.

At this point I may as well stop trying to go for team taps and just try and place first.

I even plan my Gadgets accordingly!

Okay, so the #MinecraftFestival in #SonicCrossworlds sucks with “Tap Boost” because my team mates tend to stay away from me 90% of the time- I’d rather it be Enemies than allies to be completely honest.

And by better, I mean my handling is normal and my speed is fixed rather than an inch left or right when drifting and going half my speed.

I just had an idea. So I’ve noticed that the game runs better after I restart it instead of putting my PS5 to sleep when trying to play #SonicCrossworlds.

I don’t know if there’s a correlation, but this may be a PlayStation bug based on a p2e connection.
