I found out today that there's a whole website where you can search on keywords for specific Bluesky block lists. I searched for "white house." And lo, the heavens opened, birds sang, it was beautiful...

Oddly enough, I've decided I'm actually kinda fine with my cozy little echo chamber. I know the zombies are swarming out there but doesn't mean I have to go see/smell/hear them, y'know? I know what they "think," and it never changes so why bother listening to it all AGAIN?

Haha, I went to block that account and discovered it's blocked already due to not just one but TWO block lists I subscribed to. Past me lookin' out for future me's mental health, right on!

People act like I'm crazy when I tell them postal banking used to be a thing we had but no more. So many unbanked people being fed to the payday loan/check cashing businesses that get egregiously fat off the fees from those least able to afford them, it's sick. Postal banking FTW!

What a little cutie! Jumping spiders are curing me of my arachnophobia, along with continually running face first into garden orb spider webs that they simply WILL always weave across any path humans use. I train mine by gently detaching the side strands so they land in a handy bush.

My thoughts are that rich people couldn't build or weld to save their fucking souls and have to hire everyone to do any useful job for them. So let them get into their bunkers (a false alarm would be perfect) and while they're in there, us poors weld all the doors shut. Problem solved! World party!

Cops are quite often the only reason a mental health crisis escalates into violence. We've had good results here in Portland OR with Street Response but yeah, the cops hate having any of their authority usurped, even when they hate MH calls and suck at them.

They don't really "make" anything, but they're pretty good at stealing and bribing and non-compete clausing their way into getting what they want. I mean, all the way back to the DOS kernel days. Buncha goniffs.

To be fair, that's kinda me, except I'm downloading Firefox or Brave lol. I guess I'm just paranoid and don't want ALL my eggs in the same basket. Plus, the MS browsers basically suck, in my opinion.

I think that those of us who exclusively use open source software have an easier time of it--if you've paid big bucks for some app and are exclusively used to it I can see that being somewhat of a barrier to change.

Looks like the Emergency Naked Bike Ride Against ICE in Portland went swimmingly (apt, because it was bucketing down chill rain all day long but those maniacs showed up anyway!) Didn't hear of any arrests, guess they were too froggy for the weenie boys to handle!
