The design is, again, really great. I really like how your were able to create multiple beautiful characters without falling for Same Face/Body syndrome, they are all unique and recognizable. It's a real creative skill ! Well done !

A thing I've seen that can explain it in some cases is that work becomes the primary social environment, especially if work is IRL.
They yap with their coworker at the coffee break, they make friend, go to the bar...
And because of that their social battery is empty by the time they can post online

None of my worlds are full on dystopias, but they are still flawed. As such, it's not uncommon for my OCs to wish to make things better, slowly realizing that the only way to do that is through collective actions, some small, other big, revolutionary even.

Agrat maybe only have Naamah as a parent, but she does have siblings in the hundreds, an entire species of them even.
In fact, restrictions had to be put in place for when she fight in the Pit or Ares's Crimson Colosseum, otherwise her family/fan club would just fill most of the seats-

Well, it's going to be interesting seing other people's processes like that!
I'm Slin and I draw as a hobby
My sketching process is chaotic and every changing from one piece to the next. (In other words : idk what I'm doing-)
But often it goes :
Draft > Sketch and/or Line > All the rest

A rough draft with some design research and thumbnails

Some cleaner lines (half of them are gonna be erased later-)

The finished piece :

Half of her head and upper body is gone, melted like wax. Said wax is dripping.
She appear to be floating.

I have a ton of character in dire need of an update as I'm learning new stuff in art, one drawing at the time.
A lot of my characters are inspired by myth and history, but also sometimes classic piece of arts.

Glad to have a place to yap about them, and see people yap about their own !

A fantasy reimagining of the classical painting "Girl with Pearl Earing" by Vermeer.
Here she have an armor under her clothes. She also have a huge flail like weapon resting one her shoulders but with a massive pearl dangling from the chain. She is looking somewhat pissed off.
Her name is written in the background : Parel, the Crystal Paladin.

But she is trying her best !"

A character sheet of an OC Yuki Onna, the Last Frost Spirit.
She appears as an almost uncannily slenderish woman with pale blue skin. She wears a blue kimono that is cut in a way as to frame her head entirely.
A snowflakes can be seen on her belt. She is also floating above the ground. Her dark hairs are extremely straight and goes all the way to her feet.
Her design is almost perfectly symmetrical.

On the right side of the sheet, we can see multiple angle of her head, showing her owl like nose.

There is a cartouche containing the following text :
"When the Pantheonic Accords were signed, many lower mystical beings, now forbidden by law from using their powers on the Neutral Earth, decided to go back to their native Realms.
“Why stay when we can’t even have fun with the Sapiens anymore?”

“For peace and quiet.” she responded as the rest of her kind left the frozen mountains of Japan.

Yuki Onnas were not known to be social animals to begin with, but she was in a league of her own.
A true hermit who came to this plane not for the freedom, but for the silence.
While her sisters were tricking or helping the humans of this universe, she was content with staying in her little abode, hidden behind the snow, enjoying the sound of the cold wind and the noise of the frozen nature.

And now, with the accords, even her kin would not bother her anymore.
That’s when an unwanted visitor started to appear, behind her reflection on the icy walls, the woman who would change her forever.
But not before annoying her for years that is-"

Arg, I do have witches OCs who would have been perfect but all of them are in the group of "Haven't been drawn in ages and absolutely need a full redesign". Not sure the up to date OCs would work either-
The pain.
The tragedy.
