I am a fan of Pat Hughes, which makes me by default a Cubs fan.

The Brewers are a better team this year.

Post-season baseball is the one month per year I act like a Sportsball Bro, maybe.

I didn't grow up eating raw cilantro, and the first time I had a big bunch of it in a Vietnamese spring roll, I thought someone had soaked the rice paper in soapy water.

Somehow this soap taste disappeared for me over the years, and now I love the stuff.

Have used both dried Navy Beans and dried Canellini beans for this. I use Costco chicken "Better Than Bullion" for the stock. I have run about 1/4 of the soup through a blender once it's 90% there.
Serve with hot sauce/oyster crackers/ sour cream / etc. It's great!
