I heard that Higurashi has more tense and horror moments, which is right up my alley so I can't wait to read it (I also watched a portion of the anime so ik what I'm getting into lol)
I'll let you know if I ever do decide to read Higanbana!

After Umineko I'm planning on reading Higurashi and maybe Ciconia. Haven't thought a lot about Higabana but it's on my list.... somewhere....

I've been reading it since march. I'll probably finish it this month unless something happens :P The episode I'm on has made me cry in bed twice so beware
Bernkastel has been called "the cruelest witch of them all" ever since EP 1 and only NOW I know why she's called that. She's fun ...sometimes :)
