One of my goals for the year is to read one book every week and I’m currently ahead! I’m at 5 books for the year so far! I’m trying to decide how I want to post about it, because it would be a really fun thing to share! I’m thinking maybe a book blog/separate reading account

My bingo “score” for 2025! I didn’t end up hunting as much as I would have liked. Plus I had a crazy long phase dragging me down.
But I’m still happy with how it went! I’ll have to make a new bingo for this year, but I doubt it’ll be all that different from this one.

Doing some re-reading of my book because I’m working on it again and it’s weird.
My writing is getting a lot better but my previous attitude of fix things later is starting to distract me again. I want to fix the bad stuff now…

The amount of hoops I’ve had to jump through to make my “twitter” feed useable was crazy. I’ve barely used it over the last few months and I don’t miss it. I like seeing people’s shiny posts but I’d rather find another way than continue to be on X.

Yeah, it’s gotta be a personal balance. I also love watching reactions! I guess I just got sick of feeling like I needed to be recording my hunts all of the time lol

I think too many people in the community stress about ‘content’ /making sure they have access to their reaction. And while that’s a really cool part of shiny hunting, it’s not the reason I started. And it kind of kills the fun for me if I “need” to get setup to record to hunt

Personally I just don’t record and I’ll quickly grab the camera and start filming if I find something! I really like the excitement from clips like that from old shiny hunting videos and not every encounter needs to be recorded imo
