Random thoughts on naturism and our right to be ourselves. Hopefully these posts will contribute a little to normalising nudity everywhere. Stay free, Liam Beattie. 🍻

Greetings to the naturist community here. And to everyone considering that option.
Liz Egger: What makes nudists especially nice remains a mystery. Perhaps nudism attracts the most pleasant individuals in the first place or maybe the practice of nudism somehow improves people. Who knows? And, really, who cares? Let’s just enjoy the situation.

Janet Tawakalna:

With my naked eye,
I have learned to see
Beyond human imperfection.
My naked view
Has given me
a different perception
Of the natural beauty
That exists in all.
I can see it on the faces
Of my naturist
And nudist friends
Of all ages and all races.

Mary Jane Kolassa: Naturism is based in the belief that the human body in its natural state should be celebrated, not concealed. It helps foster self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others and the environment.

Mary Jane Saunders: Shame about our bodies is a taught behaviour, not an inherent truth. Naturism teaches us to unlearn it through the simple act of being ourselves, uncovered.

Eric Stefanut: Nudity generates mutual vulnerability, and out of that is born a form of respect, where I take care of you and you take care of me. It’s the opposite of what people imagine.

Barry Knell: Wearing clothes is like blindfolding the skin - you can't feel the world around you as you should. Take off your shoes and feel the grass beneath your feet. Then take off your clothes and feel the sun and the air and the world.

Ella Kopelman (on WNBR events): For the first time, I felt like a normal human being with a body like everyone else’s. Being naked somehow felt like a superpower.

Lois Ann Horowitz:

Why should I want to separate
My being from the world around?
Indeed, I never hesitate
To drop my garments on the ground
And face the sea as I was born,
With nothing left to mask or hide.
I’m naked as a peppercorn;
Clothed naturally, I meet the tide.

Robert Brown: To change people's opinion and improve the perception of naturism, we need to have more events like this so it becomes the norm and acceptable.
