So glad my hubby is the kind of DM who won't perma kill your character if you fail your death saving throws unless you're ok with it. Because if he was, Gideon would be dead by now and I would have to make a new character for our Curse of Strahd campaign. And we haven't even finished the prologue! 😭

All the companions did in the end help him realize that he is loved and deserves to be loved. Astarion was, of course, a big factor, but also his relationship with Shadowheart. They became like brother and sisters, and he and Astarion would visit her often after the end of the game. 💜

Oh god, this actually made me cry for real. 😭😭😭 If anyone said that to Gideon, he would just break down crying like a little child that has gotten hurt and want their mommy to comfort them.

#tavqotd Under Gideon's sassy and flamboyant facade is a scared little boy who just wants to be loved unconditionally. Just someone who can tell him that he matters. Sadly, he believes that he's unlovable and that the only thing people care about is how fuckable he is.
