BUDGET UPDATE: Sen. offers a $5 million transfer from Gannon inflation to AG/gun software for 2026; no $ in 2027. For SPED ‘26: $5million in new $ vs House position of $10 million. SPED ‘27: $5million in MOE, no new money.

SecEd McMahon has not given a single example of how moving Title I or IDEA funding administration out of USED and to another department will better serve our students or the taxpayers. Because she can't - the whole scheme is ridiculous.
