My original plan was to take the day off tomorrow and get a Switch 2 at midnight, but things came up and now I have to hope I can find one after work tomorrow. Plus there's supposedly severe weather coming in and I don't wanna deal with that.

After some digging, I have confirmed my Switch 2 preorder was cancelled. Guess the only thing I can do now is hope there's another preorder window or just wait until launch day to try and find one.

Update: I went to check out my order status and Target says it has been cancelled, but the payment was still taken. I'm gonna do some digging and see if I can get a definitive answer.

Couldn’t spend any more time trying again at other places because of my day job. So I cut my losses and went to bed. Few hours later, I couldn’t sleep. Decide to check my email again. Got a new email from Target saying my preorder DID go through and I have a preorder.

Here’s my Switch 2 preorder story. I was on the Target site at midnight ready to go. Had to deal with site problems, but I eventually placed my preorder. I immediately get an email back saying it was cancelled. Well great, looks like I lost sleep for nothing.
