Thank you! 🌻 My province borders five states... what happens there certainly affects us here! Tariffs have had a direct effect on my job, as well as the general economic uncertainty we're all feeling. Hell, at this point the whole world has a fair claim to criticize American politics!

I find unless you let that fist layer of gel dry fully at least a day, you're gonna smear it some... and it starts to get too opaque. NGR is magic! Dries bone dry in like one minute, and won't rub off at all. Also, you can layer the NGR until it's like black. It's also quite transparent for 👍 grain

A thin spray coat of brown lacquer-based NGR tint for depth, then a thick layer of "Crimson Fury" gel stain, left on for 10 mins then a hard wipe.

It'll look like this railing I did the other day once clear-coated...
