Why does the #azure VM bastion page let you click "Connect" even when the machine is not running. If only there was a way in 2025 for a web page to make an API call to check a condition to toggle form components on or off.
The new sign of wealth might be when AWS is down, you don't have any problem unlocking your doors.
Every time I work with the MS Graph API all I can think is the last 40 yrs of IT and how many "omfg this is awesome!" ideas ended up getting replaced with something better and easier. Keep hope alive.
I found an old suitcase tie that I see to identify my bag on the luggage pile at airports. I only used it in 2017, and marked each airport as I passed through. Good times. But I missed my family and dogs more then too.
Friend of mine got hired at a place within their "Records Information Management" or "RIM" department. So he can proudly tell other he got a ....
I kind of wish the #powershell gallery included Like/Unlike ratings to help avoid installing buggy versions of modules. Download counts alone don't help that much.
Why does this feel like it came from the same folks who brought us the 1500% discount?
IT rule 83: when assigning a task or responsibility to someone, make sure to grant them access to do it.
I don't add a space after # on region or endregion statements. It seems like a bug. It was working until recently, but I can't confirm vscode or the extension is the root cause
The news today in the US just gets more insane every day. I never expected this place to melt down so fast.
Am I the only one that no longer has code-folding for #region blocks in #powershell files in @vscode.dev as of 1.105.1 or PS extension 2025.4.0 ? It used to work fine but now the folding link doesn't appear for those items. Maybe I just need a nap.
I'm still shaking my head over this "race to the moon" stuff, and getting there before China does. Who cares? So we go back to the moon, and then what? Build a Walmart? A charging station? It just feels like another distraction.
99.4%of doctor office client service software is pure shit. Scientifically speaking.
I posted my final tweet on X. It was a reply with a tiny joke about Epstein, which apparently you can't make, so it was deleted. Almost made it 20 yrs on that platform.
I want to see a scientific study on who can defer a mental implosion from fighting against MS Word formatting hallucinations: A Shaolin Monk, an AI agent, or a stoner after bongload no. 7
Coming back? I never left. Just trying to pay the bills and keep up. Less time for social media these days. I had to cut back a few other so I can breathe.
I've always felt Apple was heading towards a plateau where a competitor would pass them quicker in the release cycle. I think that time is now. Outside of the US their market segment is already smaller, and this looks like a nail in the coffin. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eou_...

Entra ID PIM is very flaky at times. I work with about 12 tenants each week, and certain ones exhibit strange behavior consistently. Too long to list in a single msg here, but it's 100% reproducible stuff, but only some tenants.
I've said it many times: voice commands at home: maybe. Voice commands in a busy office, retail environment, warehouse, industrial, defense facilities, etc.: horrifically problematic. www.engadget.com/computing/mi...
