Just a little behind since some of the more custom YCHs took longer than expected, but I’m catching up fast. Planning to open a limited Halloween YCH Friday. I hope that helps and isn't like, overwhelming. And caveat I'm not like an expert artist but I've had classes, helped teach classes, and worked with a lot of concept artists and tried to absorb what I can so that's my best advice. If you need other stuff I am happy to help.

The short intervals will feel brutal at first, but the point is these aren't there to teach you form, anatomy, etc. Gesture is there for understanding motion and getting the Idea of a pose without getting bogged in the details. How few lines can I use to make those lines FEEL like the pose?

is where I go to do gesture studies, they have intervals, number of images, if you want nude or clothes. I suggest nude for starting out, and set either a 30 second or 45 second interval (time the image is on screen). Just aim for spending just a few minutes at a time.

because you feel you need to. Learning to love the process is important, otherwise you hit burnout, and start to hate what you're doing.
E.g. for Gesture the basics of it are relatively quick, and IMO from the classes I've TA'd and had, shorter times are best starting out anyway. E.g. for gesture-
