I'd argue that it was for a brief window before people realized it might be the case. But just like how a metric it stops being a useful metric once you start using it to gague performance, as soon as the media started reporting on microblogging trends they stopped reflecting reality.

Wihile I'm disappointed we don't get more Qimir with a second season of The Acolyte, the fact that they didn't follow up on Skeleton Crew is criminal. Jude Law is amazing and all of the kids were fantastic too.

I think part of the issue was that the story really didn't fit into 8 episodes particularly well. A lot of the pacing issues felt like they were stuffing a round peg into a square hole.
