Australian here. It’s hideously expensive to travel overseas, cost of living is also high, and somehow we fit it in as we are fortunate & privileged to be able to do it.
Personally we don’t travel often due to caring responsibilities at home.

THIS, a million times this. And you can choose to lead by example by providing a good and solid example of *how* to handle conflict well if you know how or if you've learned over time. You don't always have to look to others for that leadership if you can stand up yourself.

Salient info: British citizen Becky Burke was stopped at the Canadian border while on a backpacking trip. Being held by ICE in Tacoma WA.

Two unrelated German tourists—Jessica Brösche & Lucas Sielaff—being held in San Diego for over a month.

By being held, I mean in ICE detention, aka jail.
