History will look back on this era to discuss the descent of our government into moral depravity. Somewhere in a future textbook will be a photo of the flattened east wing and the Major Events timeline of the whitehouse .gov website that starts in defense but ends up in a very different place.

I mean my first thought at seeing the 2028 Trump hats in the oval office this week were that the correct move would have been to reach for a drink, nab the hat, and then to sit on it when you settled back into your seat. Just to clear the sight line and all.

Ah yes the dumbest UN speech since the last one Trump gave. The Simpsons “so far” meme very much applies.

Multiple meetings today at work where we had conflicting information if tariffs are or are not hitting our materials. Confusion is no way to grow a business.

HALL Rutherford has a truly spectacular setup.

It’s always strange when you climb going west from Cleveland to get to Chicago, but it let me get this full downtown photo of the lakeshore.

A classic that never disappoints in Tampa.

Hot out there in Cleveland this weekend but lake was nice and flat for cruising around

In less infuriating news, this was a fun evening with friends over the weekend sharing some of my best bottles.

You'll see in 90 days. 2 weeks. 48 hours. Stay tuned! Is it too much to ask for leadership that doesn't operate as a constant cliff hanger just before the commercial break? Government is not a sitcom you pricks.

I'm kind of amazed I saw no impact at the workplace with all of the cloud issues I'm reading about this evening. That's some luck!

The next time DJT asks a reporter who they work for, they should really just go with a classic: "Your Mom".

When you work as a government contractor you can’t even accept a free hot dog at a ballpark, but I guess 400 million dollar airplanes are acceptable when Congress abdicates responsibility.

90 day pauses are NOT deals. Businesses typically lock in contracts with multi-year terms and to function smoothly with a forecast… we need our government to do the same.

Air travel may be blah with tiny seats and such but there is still magic in the majesty of flight as I watch the giant metal birds take off here in Lauderdale so easily.

I think it's the greatest indicator of Trump's stupidity that he believes he can direct the actions of 19500 incorporated cities/towns/villages, 5400 universities, 3144 counties, 50 states, and one DC district all from a single executive desk. Oh crap I forgot also trade with 90 countries.

Back from Louisville, where the lights were still shining despite nearly drowning the day before.

When will Xi or Trump just say “infinity” regarding this tariff nonsense.

The one thought I keep having is that if we’re an oligarchy now, they’re definitively going to remove this market crashing fool right?

Seems appropriate today as retirement accounts across America bomb out…

The lengths to which a Trump supporter will contort themselves to justify illegal acts committed by the guy they voted for rather than just saying "I was wrong" is quite frankly astounding. Particularly how often the excuses seem to find a way back to "but Biden did this" ...unrelated thing.

Lots of work is queued up for lawyers after day 1 of stupid… that’s for sure.

And here we sit... on the precipice of stupid.
