Glass was a relatively new material at that time, so this jar would have been a precious possession.

Core-forming is one of the earliest glassmaking techniques. Glassmakers shaped the body of the vessel around a core, wound colored trails around it. They then let the vessel cool and removed the core.

Some men just want to see the world burn. That's horrible enough. But even worse are those who think the flames will "cleanse" it.

Like those who expected WWI would cleanse the "decadence" of their time - socialism, expressionist art, suffragettes etc.

The cleansers are worse than the jokers.

Ja, wirklich ein schönes Beispiel. Dummerweise müssen wir uns an das Klima von morgen anpassen. Zum Beispiel mit Starkregenmengen, bei denen ein früherer Jahrhundertregen dann alle paar x Jahre runterkommt.

Aber keine Sorge, sind nur 1,5 ° C durchschnittliche Erwärmung.

Jepp, und Führich gehört auch zum alten Eisen und soll möglichst im Winter schon weg. Undav auch auf der Kippe. Woltemade, Millot und Guirassy sind dagegen miese Söldner ohne Loyalität und Ehrgefühl.
