Between the approval of North West Shelf, the release of yesterday's WILDLY inadequate National Adaptation Plan, the important and drastic National Climate Risk Assessment, and the certain announcement of a pissweak 2035 climate target, this is a fucked week to be an Australian climate advocate.

trump planning to take his DOGE axe to the regulation of nuclear power.

some see this as a path to speeding up nuclear, but it could spectacularly backfire — as we’ve seen in australia, politicisation of nuclear is very bad for the technology.

US currently enjoys nuclear bipartisanship.
