That is my theory, if the cast and Vivziepop had this kind of foresight, that is.
It would be a pretty good insurance for getting more seasons, but yeah, it was a bit much for a critical viewing.

so much hype. so many unresolved plot threads started. all of our faves getting screen time at the cost of pacing. big conflict right in the first season finale. this was all a deliberate move to show Amazon just how much Hazbin Hotel gets people talking and leaves them begging for more.

and the great financial success of the first season also demonstrates that the show is a good investment and that more episodes per season would be a worthy one.

Maybe they're in the process of asking for more episodes per season and hoping their prayers will be heard. since the crew has a pretty clear-cut example of how the small amount of episodes resulted in a very packed first season. it's undeniable evidence of what the show truly needs.

The first season will be one long pilot. A demonstration for those who fund us, of everything that the show has to offer and can be. It will be packed so full of plot leads, that they would be stupid not to pick this up so viewers can experience these plots at a slower pace later in upcoming seasons

I believe it could have been a strategic decision.
Vivzie may have accepted in her mind that the first season would be a bit of a rush and not a very standard viewer experience.

No.

I don't want comical mishaps for my enemies.

What I want for them is violence and death. I want to see the streets turn red. I have seen so much suffering I'm fatigued by it. The high-road is just as red.

It's not the parents' fault for lacking understanding. But parents could definitely use a wake up call. And they tend to be stubborn.

You know what works for that?
Same old tool.
Social engineering.

We should shame parents for picking genders for their children.

It restricts the child's freedom to be themselves from a young age by judging and curating perfectly normal and trivial things.

It also stunts a child's growth into a functional human being, in the case of 'boys don't cry'.
