Thank you to everyone who organised these amazing events and thank you for spending your Saturday with me.
#OakvilleWest is made special by its people.

From the Bronte Coat Drive organised by the amazing and tireless volunteers at St Dominic Parish, Walton United Church and Church of the Epiphany through to the vibrant festivities at the Hindu Canadian Foundation’s Deepawali Mahotsav.
#OakvilleWest remains a centre of excellence for bringing forward both the ideas and means to #BuildCanada, thank you to all those who attended.
Earlier this week I was proud to host entrepreneurs, innovators and engineers from across the industry. From steel structures, to construction, electrical engineering and more as we discussed how to #BuildCanadaHomes with @gregorrobertson.bsky.social Canada’s Minister for Housing.
Canada’s government is taking an unprecedented approach to tacking the housing crisis. I joined @gregorrobertson.bsky.social to discuss how #BuildCanadaHomes will ensure more supply, less red tape and effective public-private partnerships so we can build affordable housing at scale.
As we work to build Canada Strong building Canadian homes is a large part of that mission and I thank the minister for visiting and reaffirming our shared commitment to building affordable and supportive housing infrastructure.

Crime is not a partisan issue. While the conservatives are content to use the victims of crime for their tik-tok content I am asking the real questions and the government is taking the real steps needed to keep Canadians safe.

It was an honour to be there at Parliament Hill for those who work day in and day out to keep our communities safe. As they continue to protect us, we should all continue to do what we can to recognise and support them.

Our government remains committed to supporting the environment and encouraging EV adoption while ensuring affordability and infrastructure.

That’s why we’ve paused to review EV mandate and work with the industry on strengthening policies for Canadians and Canadian automakers.

The government’s efforts to secure tariff relief and begin CUSMA renewal consultations were recognized as key steps toward long-term stability.

In addition to trade and competitiveness, we discussed the EV transition.
